On their new album, the band reaches for sounds that can be associated with the entertainment music of the 1980s, yet, delivered in a manner characteristic of the band’s earlier style, thus cross-referring various musical genres.
Piotr “Emade” Waglewski and Filip “Wieża” Różański were in charge of producing the record. Karol Gola (baritone saxophone, keyboards, flute), known from his cooperation with the Pink Freud and Jazzombie projects joined the band.
The eponymous “civics” tell the story of human life. People’s actions – their weaknesses, fears, doubts, feelings, opinions, and dreams have been depicted from the perspective of a man, a Pole, an Earthling.
